News from Love Pattaya
Martin Tattoo Studio has been open for just over 3 years on Soi Buakhao, but Martin himself is one most well-known and established tattoo artists in Pattaya. He opened the first ever Tattoo parlour over twenty years ago on Soi 8 near beach road. He is very well respected in the local community by Thais and foreigners alike.
For three months of every year Martin travels to Germany and has a lot of private customers there. A fair number of Martin’s regulars belong to Motorcycle clubs, tattoos for these guys are a serious business where only the best will do. Martin has also taught many other tattoo artists over the years and they all speak very highly of him and his work.
As you enter Martin Tattoo Studio you will spend the first few minutes wanting to look around at all the pictures and curiosities that are a feast for the eyes. You will see the centrally located tattooing chair sat on a black and white chequered floor and a fish tank at one end and the sterilisation unit for needles at the other. The health and safety of the customer and artist is very important to these guys, who are professional in their work. All tattoos are created with new sterilised needles and new inks too. (They have their own sterilising machine in the shop.) You will be warmly welcomed by
Martin and his designer, Che and together they will help you to design and plan your tattoo. Che has worked with Martin for many years and can design for you anything from traditional temple tattoos to intricate dragon designs that circle your arm to full back tattoos. The designs can be made free hand or using Photoshop, depending on the style you require.
All tattoos are different so a quote is given after consultation. It becomes obvious very soon after meeting Martin and Che that they are a great partnership and work very well together.
Martin Tattoo Studio is open every day from 12 noon until midnight. There is plenty of car and bike parking space available at the Siam Sawadee Hotel, next to the shop. All you need to do is tell the guys at the hotel you are a customer and you can park there.
